Strategic advisory for leaders who think in depth.
Most consultancies ask you to pick a side. We don't. The sharpest insight — the kind that changes how an organisation moves and what it becomes — lives precisely at the point where two opposing truths are both correct. dicoto.me was built around this conviction: that complexity is not a problem to be eliminated, but a signal to be read with patience and intelligence.
We work with leaders and teams who have outgrown simple answers. People who know the map is wrong but haven't yet found a better one. People standing at a genuine crossroads, where the obvious choice keeps not being quite enough.
"The real question is never which side to choose —
it's what the tension between them is trying to tell you."
You have a direction. Something is pulling against it. We help you understand whether the resistance is friction to push through or a signal worth heeding — and what to do with that knowledge once you have it clearly in front of you.
Culture and strategy are always in conversation with each other. When they speak different languages, results suffer quietly. We make that conversation legible — then productive — so the whole organisation pulls together.
The hardest decisions are the ones where both options carry real cost. We don't resolve that tension for you — we help you move through it with confidence, and with full clarity about what you are choosing and why it matters.
A free scoping conversation. No templates, no pre-loaded frameworks. Just careful, unhurried listening — to understand where your challenge actually lives, not where it appears to live from the outside.
We locate the opposing forces at the heart of your situation and build a shared picture of what is at stake on both sides. This map becomes the foundation for every conversation and decision that follows.
From the shared map, we help you find and take the step that moves things forward — without pretending the complexity away, and without losing sight of what you are ultimately trying to build.
"The answers worth having
are rarely found on one side
of a divide."
Nuno Faustino has spent two decades at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and human complexity. He has worked across organisations ranging from early-stage ventures navigating identity to established institutions redefining their direction — always most at home in the moments where clarity matters most and is hardest to find.
He founded dicoto.me on a conviction earned through experience: that the most enduring solutions emerge when we stop avoiding contradiction and start using it. His practice is built on patient, structured thinking — and on the belief that a well-asked question is often more valuable than a premature answer. Based between Lisbon and London, he works globally.
